Chapter 9 Using Web Services Toolkit with EAServer
Web Services Toolkit overview
You can use Web Services Toolkit to provide remote clients
of EAServer easy access to EAServer components, across firewalls.
Web Services Toolkit provides:
- A SOAP Web application that incorporates
the SOAP servlet
- Extensive data type serialization and deserialization
- WSDL document generation
- A client proxy to minimize remote-client programming
when accessing EAServer Web Services
- A GUI for performing WSDL document creation, UDDI
registration, and SOAP management
- A sample application that demonstrates how a client
application would access an EAServer Web Service using the Sybase
client proxy
